Xiaomi has announced a new smartphone under its Poco brand for the European market. Like its predecessor – 2018-2019 Poco F1 release – Poco F2 Pro has a relatively low price, but at the same time, it has first-class characteristics. This was reported to Vesti.Ru in the press service.
The new model is equipped with a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels, which has a built-in fingerprint scanner, up to 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory. A battery with a capacity of 4700 mAh is charged at 64% in half an hour, fully – in 64 minutes, Xiaomi promised. The availability of Snapdragon 865 makes the new one of the cheapest smartphones on the market with the Qualcomm flagship chip. Support for connecting to 5G networks and Wi-Fi 6 is also announced.
The Poco F2 Pro photo module includes a 64-megapixel main sensor (Sony IMX686), a 13-megapixel wide-angle, a 5-megapixel camera for macro photography and a 2-megapixel depth sensor to create a bokeh effect. The cameras are capable of recording video in 8K quality at a speed of 24 frames per second, in 4K – 60 frames per second. A 20-megapixel front-facing front camera with support for super-slow-motion video mode is located in front of the smartphone. The electronics of the smartphone are cooled by the LiquidCool Technology 2.0 liquid cooling system. The company notes that the Poco F2 Pro is equipped with an evaporation chamber and several heat exchangers consisting of layers of graphite and graphene.
The new Xiaomi is already on sale. In the US, for a model with 6/128 GB of memory, they ask for $ 499.
