Zelensky has awarded dozens of Ukrainian radicals for Donbas. Posthumously

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy awarded the Order of Courage, III degree, to about 70 members of volunteer battalions. They received them posthumously – for the Donbas.

Among the awardees – mostly participants banned in Russia “Right Sector”, OUN and “Aydar”.

Recall that it was the battalions of Ukrainian radicals who unleashed the massacre in Donbas in 2014. Since then, according to the UN, 13,000 people have died on both sides.

As Topnews reported, the ceasefire in Donbas lasted just over six months. It is believed that the silence regime introduced from July 2020 to January 2021 was the longest since the beginning of hostilities in the territory of Donbas. According to experts, Ukraine has changed its tactics in relation to Donbas – from populist slogans that “we want to return Donbas to the bosom of Ukraine” to targeted and then full-fledged shelling of these territories.
